Drinking water treatment

Drinking water (or potable water) is water safe enough to be consumed by humans or used with low risk of immediate or long term harm. Water treatment should remove existing water contaminants or so reduce their concentration that their water becomes fit for its desired end-use, which may be safely returning used water to the environment.
A combination of multiple the following processes is used for municipal drinking water treatment. There is no unique solution (selection of processes) for any type of water. Treated water parameters are always checked against legislation on water quality.
Iron - Ammonia - Manganes - Arsenic Removal

Environmental Engineering S.A.  has designed and built numerous units for heavy metal removal from drinking water.For the removal of iron, manganese and ammonia from potable waste the biological treatment methods in open or closed filters without usage of any chemicals. To remove  arsenic from drinking water  Iron oxide adsorption process is used as a treatment process. 

Turbidity Removal
Environmental Engineering S.A.  has designed and built numerous projects for suspended solids removal from drinking water. For the removal of turbidity, the water flows through layers of filter media where separation of substances occurs. All constructed units are fully automatic and require minimal supervision.
